バーチャル校長室［118］でもお伝えしましたが、Gary Mukai博士が所長を務められるスタンフォード大学国際異文化教育プログラム（Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education：SPICE）と本校の共催による「スタンフォード大学オンライン講座」は、初年度の2015年度から今年で9年目を迎えました。Gary博士にはご多忙な中11月10日にご来校頂き、特別セミナー等も実施して頂きましたが、このことも踏まえ、本日、SPICEのWebsiteに本校のオンライン講座についてあらためて紹介されました。本講座は、同大学の一流の講師陣によるグローバルヘルスにテーマを特化した、誠に知的関心を喚起させる講座です。国境を越えた高大連携の取り組みであると言えるもので、私自身、開設時より関わってきた者として、この講座の長きにわたる継続を誠に嬉しく思っております。Gary Mukai博士、Sabrina Ishimatsu講師にあらためて感謝申し上げる次第です。
As I wrote in my blog page Virtual Principal’s Office No.118, it has been 9 years since the Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education (SPICE) directed by Dr. Gary Mukai and Takatsuki High School jointly launched an e-course on global health. On November 10 Dr. Mukai took time out of his busy schedule to come to our school and we held a special seminar. Today I was informed that a new article of this e-course has been uploaded on the SPICE website. Since ace instructors and researchers from Stanford University tell the world of global health to the students as guest speakers in every Virtual Class, the class truly arouses intellectual interests. I think this e-course is a very good example of a cross-border high school-university partnership in education, and I feel truly pleased that this course has been continued nearly a decade, as I have been involved since its opening. I would like to thank Dr. Gary Mukai and our instructor Ms. Sabrina Ishimatsu once again for their sincere support.
